After a harrowing but beautiful 90 minute drive we arrived at the park. It's much bigger and more built up than I'd imagined. The pics on the website must be outdated. Our first day here was planned out much the same as the visitors day. We toured some, fed the elephants their lunch, went to the river for bathing time and had a lot of orientation meetings.
A scrumptious Thai lunch was served at 1230 and then dinner at 630. I thought I might lose some weight while I was here working my ass off, but since I seem to be consuming my weight in noodles and fried banana dumplings every day, probably not gonna happen.
