Here lizard, lizard lizard!

There are all of these cute little Geckos climbing the walls at my guesthouse. They're really pale, almost translucent and they range in size from about a quarter inch to well over 6 inches. I love them, they make it feel so tropical.

I wonder what kind of critters I'll find up in the mountains, sharing my bamboo platform and trying to sneak under my mosquito net. I'm fine with everything except spiders. Snakes, lizards, monkeys, whatever. But if I have a close encounter with a spider I'll be on the back of the nearest elephant screaming like a little girl.

Just kidding. We're not allowed to get on the elephants. :)
